Paver Patios & Walkways · Ocean County, NJ
Patios built on what you can't see.
A paver patio lives or dies on its base. Ours are excavated deep, built in compacted lifts, and finished with Cambridge and Techo-Bloc pavers — which is why the surface you see stays flat for decades.

Every patio starts below grade: excavation to stable ground, geotextile where the soil calls for it, dense-graded stone compacted in lifts, and a screeded setting bed. Then — and only then — the pavers you picked.
Walkways get the same construction, scaled down: front entries that make the house, side paths that end the mud, pool surrounds pitched to drain away from the water.
Joints are swept with polymeric sand to lock out weeds and ants. Edges are restrained so nothing walks. And if a utility ever needs to open the ground, pavers lift and relay — a slab cracks.
